Behind every Longevity Center in the network is the Istituto Rinaldi Fontani in Florence: more than thirty years of research, clinical activity and training in REAC Technology.
Our story
The founders’ first clinical observations date back to 1987. In 1996 the Istituto Rinaldi Fontani was founded in Florence; today it is a point of reference for research, clinical practice and training in REAC Technology (Radio Electric Asymmetric Conveyer).
The starting point is a simple question: why, over time, can the body lose its ability to regulate itself and adapt? This question gave rise to the Inside Blue Zone project and its network of Longevity Centers.
The Institute’s research has never been driven by commercial logic: a choice that has slowed down its spread, but has preserved its rigour.

The founders
Co-founder and Scientific Director
A doctor and researcher, he has devoted his career to studying how the body responds and adapts to the stimuli of the environment. With Vania Fontani, he has developed and patented REAC Technology internationally.
Co-founder and Medical Director
A doctor and researcher, she studies the body’s bioelectrical activity with a focus on longevity medicine. With Salvatore Rinaldi she developed and patented REAC Technology. She is president of the Italian Society of Neuro-Psycho-Physical Optimisation (SONC).

In more than 30 years, the Institute has collaborated with universities, hospitals and research centres in Italy, Europe, Asia and Latin America.
